19th Annual Little Five Classic

The North Harrison Cross Country Team had another solid performance last night at their 2nd meet of the year at the 19th Annual Little Five Classic held on the Crawford County School Campus. Our boy’s team finished in 1st place with a score of 19 points and had a pack time of 1:04. Since it’s origination in 1993 the North Harrison boy’s team has won this event 7 years in a row and 12 out of the last 19 years. Jonathan Reynolds won the race with a time of 16:44, Johnnie Guy finished 2nd overall with a time of 17:02, Josh Guy finished in 3rd place overall with a time of 17:19, Kyle Chesser finished in 6th place overall with a time of 17:46, Jason Head finished in 7th overall with a time of 17:48, and Ryan Foster finished in 8th place overall with a time of 17:50. Freshman Curtis Wetzel finished in 12th place overall with a PR time of 18:48 and right behind him Freshman Daniel Fleace in 13th place overall with a PR time of 18:49, Cody Morgan finished in 15th place with a time of 19:28, Wesley Haub finished in 21st place with a time of 20:43, Gary Young finished in 28th place with a time of 22:14, and Freshman John Fessel finished in 34th place with a PR time of 24:40.
The North Harrison girl’s team finished in 3rd place with a score of 53 points and a pack time of 5:59. Freshman Ashton Bosler won the race with a solid performance and a PR time of 21:15. Freshman Natalie Hollensead finished in 5th place overall with a time of 23:35, Shelby Lindsey finished in 12th place overall with a time of 25:35, Sydney Taylor finished in 17th place overall with a time of 26:52, Freshman Haley Elliott finished in 18th place overall with a time of 27:14, and Abbey Stone finished in 22nd place overall with a time of 28:33.
Congratulations to all our Cougar Harriers! The Cross Country Team travels to Columbus this Saturday for a very competitive Invite and then this coming Thursday North Harrison will host the 43rd Annual Cougar Classic Invitational with over 20 teams participating.
