The campers learned that the phases of the moon are caused by the relative position of the moon, the Earth, and the sun in the night sky. They got to use Oreo cookies to make the moon phases as well!

Each project groups will visit the fishing station. The fish, especially Bluegill, are biting great today!

NHMS 6th grade campers entered he Dining Hall for the first time to choose their tables and sign up for Table Hopper Information.

The NHMS Camping Staff enjoyed lunch before stations started for the day.

The campers enjoyed lunch at the campfire area while Mr. Schmidt talked about the rules for camp.

The campers met with Mr. Schmidt and he told them which cabin they were in. They were able to take all of their things to the cabin and get settled in.

The 2026 NHMS 6th Grade Outdoor Education Trip is officially underway!

The camper's gear arrived and is unloaded. This means the campers are about 20 minutes away!

One more sleep until the 2026 NHMS 6th Grade Outdoor Education Trip begins! We are looking forward to seeing all of the campers tomorrow!

Get ready… Kona Ice is coming to North Harrison Middle School!
Our PTO is hosting a Kona Ice fundraiser on Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 10:45 AM – 1:00 PM during the students' lunch break. Students will have the opportunity to purchase a refreshing shaved ice treat, and a portion of all sales will go directly back to our school through the PTO.
