ANNOUNCEMENTS:

A huge congrats to the Cougar Band for a great performance at ISSMA Scholastic Finals! You did your best and we are proud of you!

There is a sign up in the office for anyone wanting to ride the Cheer/Fan bus on Friday to Scottsburg. If you ride TO the game you must also ride HOME on the bus from the game. There are no bluetooth radios allowed on the bus and once in a seat you must stay in that seat while the bus is moving.

The Art Guild will be hosting the NHHS Annual Costume Contest this Friday on Halloween! There will be prizes awarded for most spookie, most original, and best over all. Class competition points will also be awarded for every student who enters. For the first time ever, we will be having a staff award for best overall staff costume. To enter, head down to the art room on Friday morning to pay your $1 entry fee and to have your picture taken. We will also be open during advisory for Prosser students who wish to compete. No fake weapons, masks that cover your entire face, and make sure that your costume is school appropriate.

There is 3 golden pins along with 25 red pins hidden around the school for Red Ribbon Week. If you find them please see Maggie Chasteen, Jairica Hager or Ms. Hergenrather for your prize. 1 red pin = 1 class point, 1 GOLDEN pin = 10 class points and candy of choice! Happy searching!

Math Team will have its first competition after school on Tuesday, Oct 28 in Mrs. Tillquist's room. All mathletes are welcome!

The annual Powder Puff/Power Buff games will be held tonight, October 27 starting at 5:30. We will start on the football field with the girls playing and then move to the gym for the boys to play. Cost is $5.00 for both games. This is sponsored by Renaissance.

Any boy or girl interested in participating on the track & field team…please sign up in the office this week.

The NHHS Fall Blood Drive will be Friday, November 7 in the gym from 8:30 - 1:30. See the school nurse to sign up!! All Donors will receive a $20.00 gift card.
