Ms. Hollen’s class has been having their own little Derby right in their own classroom in celebration of the upcoming Kentucky Derby. They have read articles together to learn about what it is, how horses are eligible to be in it, and the tedious naming process that goes into naming a Derby horse.
They made their own Derby hats and held their very own Derby races until the champion horse was determined.🐎🌹🏆
