The Indiana Department of Education announced their STEM certified schools for 2024-2025. We are excited to share that North Harrison High School was among the 16 schools certified as leaders in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics! The certification is for school years 2025-2030. Today is the last day of school! We will have an early release day, as we do every Friday. High School graduation is tonight at 7:00 P.M. Have a great summer!!!

Due to the impending weather forecast, all after school activities, including the after school program, will be over at 5:00 this afternoon. Morgan students on the field trip to Conner Prairie will also arrive back to Morgan at 5:00 instead of 6:00.

Important NHHS Chromebook Collection Information!
All seniors are required to turn in their Chromebook and Chargers on May 16 or May 19.
Underclassmen will have the opportunity to take their Chromebooks home for the summer if they choose. Anyone wanting to turn their Chromebook in for the summer will do so on May 23.
Please ensure that students turning in their devices have name stickers on both their Chromebook and charger.
Collection will begin AFTER Lunch B on the dates listed below:
*Seniors: Friday, May 16th and Monday, May 19th
*Underclassmen: Friday, May 23rd
**Prosser Seniors will turn in devices AFTER 2nd period (10:00 AM) on Monday, May 19th
Students who do not have name stickers on their devices may come to the library during advisory period to have a name sticker made for them.

North Harrison Community Schools are looking to hire a full time and part time custodian. The full time custodian will work the night shift when school is in session and then work the day shift when school is on break. The part time position is for for a night custodian.

Emily Dodson from the Harrison County Swim Team Board for the Hammerheads would like to invite any student in grades K-12 to join them this summer. If you are interested see the attached image for more information on where to register and who to contact if there are questions.

Morgan Elementary school will be closed on Wednesday, April 9th due to the sewer issues in Palmyra. A synchronous eLearning day will take place for Morgan students. ALL other schools will operate on a normal schedule. Morgan district buses will run for grades 6-12 students. Contact your school with any questions.

If your child is impacted by flood waters anywhere in the district, and cannot be picked up, please contact your school so the absence can be excused. We will continue to provide updates and communicate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

All Schools will be closed on Monday, April 7th due to flooding. In addition, the flooding has caused sewer issues in the Palmyra area. A synchronous eLearning day with live instruction will take place. Students need to follow the daily schedule sent from each school. Attendance will be taken via Google Meets.

Spring Break is next week (March 24th-March 28th). We will return to school on Monday, March 31st. Enjoy your time away and be safe!


💉IMPORTANT Immunization Information for Parents of NHHS and NHMS Students💉
Parents of NHHS and NHMS Students: Please check your email for important information regarding the Immunization Shot Clinic that will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025. This email will contain any immunization forms that your NHHS or NHMS student may be able to receive.
The Immunizations are given by the Harrison County Health Dept. who will be at the Middle School and High School and are ONLY for the State required Immunizations if you CHOOSE for your child to receive.
All immunization forms are due back to your student's school by Friday, April 4, 2025. Please contact your school nurse with any questions.
