Back, by popular demand: the North Harrison High School Library is hosting an online apparel sale as a fundraiser once again this year! We're featuring a new original design by junior Jaden Whitlock. The shop will remain open until January 10, however, in order to pick up your order before winter break, your order must be placed by this Friday, December 13.

This is a reminder that Thanksgiving Break begins on Wednesday, November 27th. School will resume on Monday, December 2nd. Enjoy the holiday with your family and friends.
German 1 and 2 and their guests went on an optional field trip to the Hofbrauhaus in Newport and shopping in Cincinnati on Saturday. Great food and a good time were had by all!

Mr. Allen's CTE Construction Class is working on a project at NHES. Students take turns attaching joists in the hanger brackets, help attach the rafter to support the post, attach sheathing to the joists, and screw down the metal roofing.

NHHS Students Lydia Windell and Samantha Carr won $1000 yesterday in a case study presentation at USI. Samantha was also 3rd in the individual test and received a $250 scholarship. There were 177 students there from all over the state and Henderson KY. Congratulations to both Lydia and Samantha!

In cooperation with Ag Revolution, the North Harrison CTE Agriculture Department and FFA Chapter will have an Open House event for farmers to learn about Planter Technology, MeterMax and Steering & Guidance demonstration strations. This event is on Saturday, November 16th from 9AM-2PM at the High School Agriculture Department. Lunch will be provided. Attendees may come and go during the event as they have time.

Last night some members of our community received a text message with political statements that contained our school logo. This message was NOT sent from anyone associated with NHCSC. It appears to be text message spam sent from a non-working number.
This is a reminder that there is NO SCHOOL for students on Tuesday, November 5th (Election Day).

The Cougar Band will travel to Jasper (Jerry Brewer Stadium) for ISSMA Scholastic B Prelims. tomorrow (Saturday, October 5). We are hoping to advance to Finals for the 4th year in a row and the kids have been working very hard and are the best the band has been in several years.
If you're a glutton for punishment and have nothing better to do in the morning, we'd love a big send-off in front of the high school at 7:15-7:30.
If you want to come watch, we will perform at 11:26am. Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for students and cash and card are accepted.

Ms. Holzbog's Kinesiology and Human Performance classes tried their hands at archery this week. They learned about body alignment, muscle recruitment, and shot sequence. Thank you to Mrs. First for bringing this opportunity to our students!
