NHMS held their annual Fall Can Drive over the past week and students showed some major sharing and caring to our community with their donation of 3,072 canned goods/non-perishable items! Way to share & care, NHMS!!
The event is put on by NHMS Honor Society students and they delivered the collected food to Harrison County Community Services yesterday. These students were able to see the shelves go from nearly to empty to overflowing and also participated in several other projects while we were on site, including packing food boxes to be distributed to those who are home bound, as well as, stock non-prep foods to be distributed to those who are homeless.
During this season of giving back to our community, we could not be more proud of our NHMS students!

NHMS Can Drive is underway and it has been amazing to see our building come together for a project all about sharing and caring!
We have two days left of our drive, so be sure to send any cans or non-perishable food items with your student as we work to give back to our community!
