This week, every third grader at Morgan and North Harrison Elementary received a free Webster Dictionary from the Harrison County Community Foundation to use at school and home. The Dictionary Project was established to help students complete the school year as good writers, active readers, and creative thinkers by providing them with their own dictionaries.

In cooperation with Ag Revolution, the North Harrison CTE Agriculture Department and FFA Chapter will have an Open House event for farmers to learn about Planter Technology, MeterMax and Steering & Guidance demonstration strations. This event is on Saturday, November 16th from 9AM-2PM at the High School Agriculture Department. Lunch will be provided. Attendees may come and go during the event as they have time.


Last night some members of our community received a text message with political statements that contained our school logo. This message was NOT sent from anyone associated with NHCSC. It appears to be text message spam sent from a non-working number.

This is a reminder that there is NO SCHOOL for students on Tuesday, November 5th (Election Day).

📢The auction for the two Backyard Studios ends at 6 pm this evening, October 16, 2024 and there will be no reserves. They are now being auctioned off online by Beckort Auctions. The highest bid on one of the studios is $2150 while the other has a high bid of $2100.📢

The Cougar Band will travel to Jasper (Jerry Brewer Stadium) for ISSMA Scholastic B Prelims. tomorrow (Saturday, October 5). We are hoping to advance to Finals for the 4th year in a row and the kids have been working very hard and are the best the band has been in several years.
If you're a glutton for punishment and have nothing better to do in the morning, we'd love a big send-off in front of the high school at 7:15-7:30.
If you want to come watch, we will perform at 11:26am. Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for students and cash and card are accepted.

This is a reminder that Friday, October 4th is the last day of the grading period. Fall break will take place from October 7th-October 11th. Classes will resume on Monday, October 14th. Have a safe and enjoyable break!

Ms. Holzbog's Kinesiology and Human Performance classes tried their hands at archery this week. They learned about body alignment, muscle recruitment, and shot sequence. Thank you to Mrs. First for bringing this opportunity to our students!







The Harrison County 7th and 8th Grade Volleyball tournament scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, September 28, has been moved to South Central. Times will follow the original schedule.

Tonight's football game has been moved to Saturday, September 28th at Noon. Homecoming festivities will take place on Friday, October 18th during halftime of the Providence game.

Just a reminder that Parent Teacher Conferences are tomorrow, Friday, September 27, and there will be no school for students.


We are continuing to monitor the weather forecast for this weekend. As of now, all events are still scheduled to go on as planned. There is no school for students tomorrow due to conferences. Prosser will be in session. We will make a decision tomorrow on any changes or postponements, including Homecoming.
